I already have a Bachelor Degree in Christian Ministry. I have been licensed and ordained in a Southern Baptist church were I serve as Associate Pastor. How can these courses help me?

  9. lyn Says:

To Bienvenu–I think the Master of Theology is more academic and geared towards research and teaching. The Master of Divinity is more for those that want to enter the ministry, whether as evangelists, pastors, etc.

  14. Carlton Coleman Says:

Hi there, I am currently doing a Master of Divinity from Oval Bible College. In reference to V.Amardev Rajesh question, you should definitely be eligible to apply for Master of Divinity atleast at some colleges. However, on this site, you may want to try the Doctor of Biblical Studies degree. Trinity only requires that you are atleast 24 and have a bachelors degree or three years of college in any major for entrance into the (DBS) Doctorate of Biblical degree so I recommend you do that one. Let me know if you decide to start it, I probably will after I finish my MDiv degree.

I have already known how tough this subject is. I do not think two years is enough for graduation. Specially, MDIV is so much time taking. One can for sure get graduated if he can employ all the time he has every day without working other things. But for a student like me, who struggles for a living and also eager to learn this subject, Oh God help me I do not know what to do with it.

  20. Rev.Anil Jasper Says:

With due respect and great honor, I would like to bring your kind attention towards my foremost desire to apply for Master of Divinity program. I am living in Pakistan. If you will give me an opportunity to complete this degree through correspondence then i will be very thankful and grateful to you. I am a married and have 5 kids.
