Richard Gagnon serves as the senior pastor of the Reformed Baptist Church of Lac Megantic, Quebec (Canada). He is a native French-speaker, though he manages English very well. He is a bachelor in theology (ThB) and is now pursuing his studies with Trinity School (India) to get his Masters and Doctorate degrees (ThM/ThD). Before being a student with Trinity, he was trained in an Evangelical and Reformed seminaries in Canada. He works in the ministry of the Word of God since 1991.
Earlier this year (2008), Dr. Philip invited him to become a senior-faculty-member for Trinity School. He accepted immediately, being a lifelong student and teacher of the Word of God. Thus, he is now the Head-Manager of the French branch of Trinity Graduate School of Apologetics and Theology. This office, being located in Canada, has for its main purpose to offer the programs of Trinity for those willing to work in French, though using the actual good material that Trinity offers to all its students.
From that time on, Trinity is able to reach a larger segment of the French Christian Church which is, at this moment, very poor in high standing biblical training. Already, French-speaking students as far as in Africa, USA and Canada have been enrolled with Trinity. Pastor Gagnon is totally sure that Trinity will become, if not already, the largest Christian Training Center, in the realm of distance-learning programs in the world.
Richard is also the Chief-Editor of the Journal of our school (Trinity Journal of Apologetics and Theology). He manages also other Christian websites like Ginosko (English), Reformata (French).
Finally, among his fields of expertise, pastor Gagnon is well acquainted with Reformed Theology, Systematic Theology, Hermeneutics and Expository Preaching. He is a passionate preacher of the Word of God always digging deeply in the Sacred Texts. His love for the Lord Jesus is evident in all his sermons. His preaching is always God and Christ-centered.
